Gus Smith is a pretty good guy. He enjoys the company of others, and being alone. His first string instrument was his big brother's electric bass, that he was not supposed to play, which he left in a humid South Carolina garage, where it rusted. Despite ongoing punishments for this crime, he continued to pursue music as a back-up plan for his inevitable career as a fine artiste. In his free time, Gus enjoys cooking frightening quantities of Buffalo chicken wings in exchange for a living wage, and smoking; both of which he would like to quit.
